The Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) and its members participated at the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) to launch an urgent appeal to advance in the implementation of the SDGs and NUA through the Right to the City approach to respond to the current global crisis, and to move to a long-term structural transformation of our cities and communities.

The GPR2C co-organized two online events: Informal Workers & COVID-19 and Fulfilling SDG11 and the NUA beyond the COVID-19 pandemic through the Right to the City. The GPR2C also launched an online campaign in order to give visibility to messages and initiatives of our members and allies to address the pandemic.

Our active participation was key to bring forward the struggles for the Right to the City!

Cities for Dignity, not for Profit!
This October, let's move forward to fulfil the social function of the city !

This Urban October the GPR2C will launch a campaign to:

- demand that governments and the international community fulfil the Social Function and the Right to the City

- support the initiatives of our members and allies all over the world.

Stay tuned and join us on World Day for the Right to the City!
