Description: Centro Interdisciplinario de Estudios sobre el Desarrollo-Uruguay (CIEDUR) is a Research Center – Non-Governmental Organization that works on Development in different areas. Among them, we find the Area of Development and Gender and the Area of Development and Environment. In a transversal way we address the issue of housing and habitat, more specifically the right to housing and the city, from a perspective of human rights (DESC). Among other coalitions and platforms, we are founders and members of the Coalition of Organizations for DESC Rights (Uruguay).
We are also members of the National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (ANONG), the National Care System Network, the Uruguayan Network of Environmental NGOs, the National Follow-up Commission: Women for Democracy, Equity and Citizenship (CNS Mujeres), and the Daphnia Ecofeminist Collective.
