The Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) aims to contribute to the emergence of new emancipatory utopias and social pacts for a better future in all human settlements, giving visibility to/in dialogue with those already existing transformative cosmovisions and creating new possible collective imaginaries.
As a strategy to disseminate the right to the city to a wide and international public, the GPR2C is launching the online course Decoding the Right to the City, which aims to, through a kaleidoscopic approach, present different perspectives and initiatives for the realization of the right to the city.
GPR2C members from different world regions will contribute with their expertise on the theme, connecting with the topics such as: women and gender; inclusive and solidary economies and food sovereignty; social production of habitat and informal settlements; rural-urban linkages and environmental dimensions; and democratic governance.
The course will be held through the Zoom platform every Thursday from April 08th until May 20th, with simultaneous translation to both Spanish and English, and it is open to the public in general.
Registration will be free and open to all people interested in the topic [REGISTRATION ARE CLOSED NOW].
