This year’s webinar series to present and collectively develop the GPR2C Thematic Papers will also include the presentation of the notebook that we have produced in alliance with CLACSO

Since last year the Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) has embarked on the preparation of a series of thematic papers to deepen the key conceptual and programmatic contents related to the right to the city. These documents are intended to strengthen the advocacy, training, networking, and communication work of the GPR2C.

This year, we will produce four thematic documents focused on 4 components of the Right to the City: Cities free from discrimination, inclusive citizenship, quality public spaces, and inclusive rural-urban linkages

The drafting of the documents will be led by experts, supported by reference groups composed of professionals and activists from various partner networks.

Webinar series as part of the learning process

As we did last year, the collective learning process for the production of these Thematic Papers will count with a webinar for each of the themes. The objective of this webinar series is to broaden the angle of each paper, to provide insights and experiences from other parts of the world and from other professionals and members of civil society.

In addition, in three of these webinars(*) we will present the notebook published jointly with CLACSO: “The Right to the City in the face of current challenges“.
