COVID-19 has hit cities particularly hard, exposing key challenges faced by them. Through a discussion with civil society organizations, academics and local governments we aim to identify paths provided by the Right to the City for implementing SDG11 and the NUA beyond COVID-19.
The event will focus on concrete initiatives, under a balanced regional perspective, that have emerged from both governments and civil society to address these issues under the context of the COVID-19 pandemic but building pathways for long-term transformation.
