Urban October is here!

Every year, the Global Platform for the Right to the City (GPR2C) celebrates Urban October, an opportunity to make our struggles and initiatives heard and join forces for a better world.

In 2021, Urban October will begin on Monday, October 4 with World Habitat Day and will end on Sunday, October 31 with World Day for the Right to the City.

As always, the GPR2C joins and supports all the initiatives of the members and allies during Urban October under the umbrella of the Right to the City.

In addition, GPR2C invites you to join the collective campaign "The impact of COVID-19 on our Right to the City". (See details below).

Send us your initiatives so that we can all participate and support you with visibility .

Let's join forces to advance the Right to the City for All!

Campaign: The impact of COVID-19 on the Right to the City

On the occasion of Urban October 2021, GPR2C launches a collective campaign to reflect on the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on our Right to the City and the possible pathways for the long term protection and implementation of the Right to the City that have emerged through the mobilization of civil society and public actors.
