Description: The Institute of Urban Development CENCA (CENCA) was created in 1980 and since that date has been working on issues of regional urban planning, city and housing and knowledge co-producing. It is a member of HIC and IAI.
Mission: CENCA is an organization that works with and for the populations of oppressed sectors through popular pedagogy, the co-production of knowledge, land management, the right to adequate housing and habitat rights, solidarity practices, community communication, environmental justice, and respect for diversity.
